Never say Sometimes...

Say Always. I am always victorious, not sometimes victorious. I can control my feelings, anger, ego always, not sometimes. “Always” is a key to do wonders. Discipline is about always doing the right things at the right time.

This is how a smallest effort can change our future. Never postpone, do what you have to do “NOW”. Sluggishness is the enemy number 1, just get rid of it – “NOW”. Because if you can’t give up your weaknesses, you will never be able to climb up the ladder of satisfaction & happiness. We have so much of raw power and we don’t even realise how energy is getting wasted within us. So, drive the change now. Today is the time to become a leader – of your own thoughts – and not the other way round. Future is right here, waiting for you to see it in the eye but the BIG question is “Are you ready for it?”

Living with Courage

I just saw a beautiful program on Discovery. It was a documentary on a man from Congo who lost his wife, job, estate and home to the rebellions. He has three kids and nothing to feed them. What struck me hard was this man’s will to survive and to raise his children successfully. He doesn’t have a place to live but his eyes still sparkle of hope, of a better tomorrow. When the interviewer asked him how he plans to live now, he said that as long as he can walk on his own foot, he doesn’t fear future and will work hard to begin his life again from a new edge.
What an amazing fellow!

It’s being said that “Courage is not the absence of fear but the ability to walk through it.”

There are many among us who are ready to devote their energies to the positivity in life. We all have troubles in our own way but how are we helping those who live around us? What are we giving the world each day? How do we inspire others? Why can’t we be different from others who just know how to take, how to crib and how to gain self importance? Let’s be a ‘giver’, let’s all give peace, smile and good wishes to others and Mother Nature and let us all be incredible citizens. We have lot to be thankful about; start feeling grateful about gifts of life before it gets too late and you miss your chance to do so.

On the way to success

There is nothing like “overnight success”.
Behind flashy smiles, there is years of hard work and yes – route to success isn’t sexy. It takes time and you need patience.

Most of the time, the right thing to do is the hardest thing to do. Generally people give up there only. To be successful in something, you need to be passionate enough to stick to it everyday, week, month and year of your life.

It’s really amazing to see how far you can get just by staying with something long enough. Giving up too early is a sign of running away and alas – some of us are like that. We are guided by our fears and faith takes a back seat.

Thought for the day is "Greatness is not about revolution but about evolution. It comes to you naturally with those small yet consistent wins. To be great, you only need to have a viewpoint and the will to stick with it."

Lessons That I Learnt From Indian Army

One of my childhood wishes was to join the Army. Unfortunately, my eyesight did not support me and I had to drop the idea at the age of 13. But Indian Army still inspires me to the core and not a single day passes when I don’t think about the men (and the women!!) in green.

There is so much for which I adore it – first being the team spirit. I don’t think anyone can display better selflessness than the brave soldiers, who I don't know how get the guts to put their lives at risk every single day.

It has a 'young force', the people from gen Y and their motivation is worth noticing. They are the ones who don’t have worldly longings like us, those who never complain of aching, who can sacrifice the comfort of home beds for sub zero temperatures of Siyachin , leaders who fight against all odds and those who know that to achieve something, you have to give up a lot.

Love them for what they are, for without them India is a broken country.
