Self care - Take out time for yourself!

In today’s fast-paced world, everybody has deadlines – be it at work or at home. While fulfilling our responsibilities towards those around us, do we give time to ourselves for self care? Life can be demanding for everyone – mothers, professionals, home makers and even kids - who have to compete with each other for better results. In such a scenario, it is very easy to get distracted from our original self.

One of the best ways to stay organized is to make a list of tasks that you need to do every morning. As you work through you day, glance through your list to make sure that you are on schedule. If you follow this routine for a week, you will certainly find that there are some tasks that are more time- consuming and can either be avoided or completed within a shorter period.

I love this system! I actually started doing this when I had a new baby and felt like I was doing the same things over and over, only to do them again. (Oh, the diapers!) Being able to check things off the list as I did them gave me a much-needed sense of accomplishment at the time, lol. I still use this system today because I 'wear many hats', and this keeps me from forgetting to do necessary tasks throughout the day. Things that don't get checked off usually turn out to not have been so important after all, and usually get phased out. Anyway, great post.

In this article, I explore some of the deeper mysteries of how the mind works when it is activated earlier than usual. Hope you feel as inspired reading it as much as I loved writing it. Making the morning routine To those who can get up early without setting alarm, I say you are blessed. Not many have that much of control over the self. From putting up a running gear in bed for the morning to setting puzzles as the alarm on the phone, I did it all. Some days I got up before the alarm even rang, but other days were a pain. I slogged out of bed, put down the alarm, and slept again. The intoxicating morning sleep had me in its ever-long grasps. Every night I wo...

Behaviors That Help Develop Personal Accountability

Embarking on a journey towards personal accountability involves a fusion of ancient wisdom and modern psychology. Research illuminates the transformative impact of spirituality and meditation , guiding individuals toward heightened self-awareness and moral clarity. Research underscores the role of specific behaviors in personal accountability (Johnson & Brown, 2019). Engaging in continuous self-reflection and goal-setting fosters personal growth (Williams et al., 2020).
